To switch an XML from the Third Country to EEA format, the following prerequisites apply:
  1. In the Clinical Trial Application Menu the Task Bar at the top of the screen includes the option 'Switch XML':
  2. Click and the XML you currently have loaded is converted to the other flavour of XML (in this example an EEA CTA is loaded, so a Third Country CTIAcronym: Clinical Trial Information. As distinct from a CTA, CTI refers to Third Country Clinical Trial Information. is created):
  3. You can 'Save File' or 'Open with' an XML reader (if you have one installed).
The switched XML may now be used as you wish either within or outside EudraCT.
