System Requirements for EudraCT

There is no special set-up required. All pages that are larger than the screen view scroll so that all the information on a page can be viewed at any screen resolution.

• We recommend Internet Explorer v7.0 or later
• All screens are best viewed at a screen resolution of 1280x800 pixels.
• Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari, Google Chrome and other email browsers may be used, though these have not been fully tested
• Any issues encountered may be reported to the EudraCT Service Desk.

Known Pop-up Blocker Issue

Some users of Internet Explorer (6 and above) may encounter the following pop-up when accessing EudraCTEudraCT (European Union Drug Regulating Authorities Clinical Trials) is the European Clinical Trials Database of all interventional clinical trials of medicinal products commencing in the European Union from 1 May 2004 onwards. The EudraCT database has been established in accordance with Directive 2001/20/EC. v8:

This is because EudraCT is a web-based application which uses JavaScript. Whilst users may wish (or need) to contact their own IT Service Desk before making changes to their security settings, the following options will allow users to safely access EudraCT:
Option 1:
1. Click 'Click here for options...' banner and the following options appear:
   
2. Now click the 'Always Allow Pop-ups from This Site...' option.
Option 2:
1. Alternatively, in the Internet Explorer Menu Bar, click Tools>Internet Options>Security>Custom level...>then scroll down to the 'Downloads' settings, and select Enable for the Automatic Prompting for file downloads option:
2. Then click 'OK'.
Option 3:
1. Alternatively, try changing your IE8 security settings if they are set to Medium-High. Click Tools>Internet Options>Security>Custom level...> then scroll down to the Miscellaneous settings, and select Disable the 'Use Pop-up Blocker' option:
